Laser Diode
Required
Any laser diode will do, provided it can operate at 3.3v and < 200mA. The dimensions of the outer case should be 8.5mm x 30mm. Smaller is fine with glue and a shim. Larger will not work. If you choose to save a few bucks and source your own laser, BE CAREFUL. Its very easy to get a laser that is out of spec / more powerful than it ought to be. Stick to 5mW or less. Lasers are dangerous and can blind you. |
